How do I send you back unwanted collection bags? I don’t want to throw them into the bin adding to landfill?
Hello Louise, thank you for your enquiry. If you’re not planning to donate at all, you can recycle the bag or use it as a bin liner, but please remember to turn it inside out, so as not to confuse bin collectors. Another option is to send it to our office which is located at Your Donation Ltd, 16 Queens Court, Greets Green Road, West Bromwich, B70 9EG. If you wish, we can send to you a prepaid Royal Mail envelope, so you can post the bag to us free of charge, just write to us your postal address by emailing to [email protected].
Hi, what percentage % actually gets to the cor-problem
Hello John,
All information about our clothes collection scheme is available at https://yourdonation.uk/about-us/ . Thank You.
Your bags say you take underwear. Can you be more specific please as, for example, I have almost new bras which are not usually acceptable to charities.
Thank you for getting in touch and for your support!
Yes, we do accept underwear of any kind in a good, clean condition, it can be bras as well.
If you would like to arrange a collection, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will be happy to assist.
I need more bags!
Thank you for getting in touch! You can use black bin liners or any other bags as additional donation bags. On day of collection you can put them together with our branded “Boot Out Breast Cancer” bag. If still our charity bags are needed, email us on [email protected] with your address, desired quantity of bags and we will arrange a bag drop off as soon as we can.
What do we do with bags that are not collected?
If your donation has been missed, please call charity collection helpline on 0330 380 0598 or get in touch using our online form and we will arrange a new collection for you.
Though Boot Out Breast Cancer refers to itself as a ‘charity’, it is evidently NOT A REGISTERED CHARITY…as there is no registered charity number visible on its website – and only a registered company number on its bags. However, if I have missed something or got this wrong, or if charity registration is pending, then a clear explanation would be much appreciated.
Hi Jamie. Boot Out Breast Cancer is a registered charity in the UK with charity number: 1138195. You can find the charity number on its official website – https://bootoutevents.co.uk/ or visit the Charity Commission website https://register-of-charities.charitycommission.gov.uk/charity-search/-/charity-details/5012132. Thank you.
This is reassuring to hear. I have now found the registered charity number at the very bottom of the reverse side of the clothes donations bag. I suggest that, as the Company number is displayed on its own on the front of the clothes donation bags, that the registered charity number is displayed there with it – to avoid the public’s wariness!
Why is your company number not registered?
Hi Ammanda, Your Donation Ltd registered as a limited company no 10691730.
Just for everyone else (and because the person working for the charity was so polite about this), I wanted to point out that the charity number is really clear on BOTH sides of the bag.
Do you resell good quality clothing as I have good quality clothing childrens to get rid of?
Hi — yes, we do. Good quality, clean and reusable children’s clothing is very welcome. We collect the items, sort them, and resell wearable clothing to raise funds for the UK charity you choose.
